1. Scope & Purpose

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all products sold by Research Peptides NZ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) that are explicitly labelled and sold for research purposes only. By purchasing from us, you (“customer,” “you”) agree to this policy in full.


2. Research Use Only Disclaimer

All products are sold strictly for in vitro laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, clinical use, or therapeutic application.

Due to the sensitive and controlled nature of these materials, all sales are subject to strict quality control and handling standards, which directly impact eligibility for refunds or returns.


3. All Sales Final Policy

As a general rule, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or issue refunds except under the limited circumstances outlined below.


4. Eligibility for Refunds or Replacements

Refunds or replacements may be granted only if one of the following conditions is met:

4.1 Damaged or Defective Products

  • The product arrives physically damaged or compromised.

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Clear photographic evidence of the packaging and product must be provided.

4.2 Incorrect Product Delivered

  • The item received does not match the order confirmation.

  • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

4.3 Verified Quality Issue

  • A substantiated quality concern is identified that deviates from the product’s Certificate of Analysis (COA).

  • Supporting documentation or lab data may be required for review.


5. Non-Eligible Situations

Refunds or returns will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Improper handling, storage, or use after delivery

  • Degradation due to failure to follow storage instructions

  • Misuse, including any use outside of “research purposes only”

  • Buyer’s remorse or ordering error

  • Seized, delayed, or destroyed shipments due to customs or regulatory authorities

  • Third-party reshipping or forwarding services

  • Claims made beyond the 48-hour reporting window


6. Return Authorization Process

If eligible, the following process must be followed:

  2. Provide:

    • Order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Supporting photos/documentation

  3. Await written approval before returning any product

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.


7. Return Conditions

If a return is approved:

  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • It must be shipped in accordance with any handling instructions provided

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated


8. Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method only

  • Alternatively, a replacement product or store credit may be offered at our discretion


9. Shipping & Liability

  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Carrier delays

    • Temperature excursions after delivery

    • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer


10. Compliance & Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service or refunds where misuse is suspected

  • Cancel orders that appear to violate applicable laws or regulations

  • Request additional verification before processing claims


11. Limitation of Liability
